New office bearers elected

Kangpokpi, October 02 2018:
Kuki Students' Organization Twilang Block, Kangpokpi and Chandel have elected office bearers for the term 2018-2021.The KSO Twilang Block election was held on September 28 at Tujang Vaichong sub-divisional Headquarters under the supervision of KSO Sadar Hills as directed by KSO-General Headquarters.
Lhunminlen Enock Kipgen of T Vaichong, Haokhongam Lhouvum of Old Thenjang village, Seipao Khongsai of Gelnal, Nehchunglen Hangshing of Wakotphai, Tongsat Lhouvum of Lasan and Paolenmang Lhouvum of T Vaichong were elected as president, vice president, general secretary, joint secretary, finance secretary and asst finance secretary respectively.
While Paotinsei Khongsai of Gelnal and Ngamminthang Lhouvum of Lhouthang were elected as social & culture secretary and information and publicity secretary, Satgoulen Khongsai of Chalwa, Seitinlal Hangshing of Wakotphai and Seipao Sitlhou of Govajang were elected as education secretary, games & sports secretary and advisor respectively.
KSO Sadar Hills president, Thangminlen Kipgen administered oath of affirmation as returning officer in the presence of Kuki Inpi Twilang Block president, Kamlal Kipgen, KSO Sadar Hills general secretary, Ngamkhohao Haokip as presiding officer and various other CSOs leaders at Tujang Vaichong.
Meanwhile, the KSO Chandel district election for the term 2018-21 was held today under the supervision of KSO General Headquarters at KSO Gunpi Block office, Sugnu.
Altogether 5 (five) new executives were elected during the peaceful election attended by Paotinthang Lupheng, president KSO-GHQ as returning officer, Thanglalshon Baite, general secretary, KSO GHQ as presiding officer and Hemang Haokip, secretary organization KSO-GHQ as election secretary.
The newly elected executives are Thangjalun Haokip (president), M Ngamminlen Haokip, (vice president - admn), Thangjalet Haokip (vice president - external), Felix G Lhungdim (general secretary) and Thangkhomang Baite (finance secretary).
Paotinthang Lupheng, president, KSO GHQ administered oath of affirmation and Rev Mangkhosei Baite invoked the Lord's blessing for the newly elected executives.
The election was participated by leaders of district branches and blocks while representative from sister organizations such as Zillai Chandel block and Mate Students' Organisation (MSO) also took part and spoke on the election and oath taking ceremony.
