MKS plans Solidarity Park

Senapati, July 02 2019: The endeavour towards establishment of MKS (Maram Students' Union) Solidarity Park at Tumuyon Khullen, situated along NH, 11 kms from Senapati district HQs, has started with a social work on June 29 organised at the proposed site, said a statement of MKS yesterday.

The decision to establish the park in memory of the Maram tribe leaders was taken during the MKS Federal Assembly on Nov 8, 2014 at Willong Monoliths, said the union and added that Tumuyon Khullen village had generously donated the land.

The park will bring back the beauty and glory of the past alive which in turn would "reaffirm our faith, hope and determination to move ahead with inspiration", said MKS.
