NE Start-up Showcase Summit 1.0 begins

Imphal, February 01 2023: Department of Information Technology, Manipur in association with Manipur Technology Innovation Hub and Bhubaneshwar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation organised the North East Start-up Showcase Summit 1.0 at IT Park, Manipur Technology Innovation Hub on Wednesday.

The inaugural function was attended by Health minister Dr Sapam Ranjan as chief guest while Department of Information Technology, Manipur director Nambam Deben, KIITTC+BI CEO and KIIT University director general Dr Mrutyunjay Suar and Technology Incubation KIIT-TBI head Dr Namrata Mishra were present as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ranian informed that the Summit has been organised with the objective of promoting and sharing innovative ideas.

He then expressed belief that various unique ideas/ products would be produced during the summit, while stressing the need for supporting the same.

In his speech, Nambam Deben said that start-up ac tivities are picking up pace in Manipur with the support of the Chief Minister.

The Summit aims to ascertain how to provide the various facilities provided by the state government to support start-ups in the field of information technology, he conveyed.

The summit will conclude on Thursday.
