Senapati, July 31 2024:
In a latest development with disagreement between the two parties, Poumai Naga Frontal Organisations declared non-cooperation to NSCN/GPRN with immediate effect.
The decision is stated to have taken as per a follow-up of the resolution adopted during the 3rd General Assembly of the Poumai Naga Union (PNU) on May 31, 2024.In a joint declaration made by presidents of Poumai Naga Union (PNU), Poumai Naga Students' Union (PNTM) and Poumai Naga Women's Union (PNM) on Wednesday, it stated that the Poumai Naga community has consistently demonstrated unwavering commitment to the Naga national Interest in letter and in spirit.
However, the recent actions by the NSCN/GPRN have not only undermined the contributions and commitment but also infringed upon their community's Interest.
Despite their patient efforts to resolve the issue amicably, there has been no satisfactory response from the concerned, it mentioned.
Therefore apropos to the resolution adopted on May 31, 2024, the frontal organisations are compelled to take the step to protect the interests of the Poumai Naga community and uphold their collective dignity.
The frontal organisations urged the Naga public to understand and support the decision made in the best interest of the community's existence and the larger Naga national Interest.
It should be noted that their dedication to the cause remains steadfast and unwavering, it added.
