Training on beauty therapy, parlour held

As part of the continued endeavour of Assam Rifles towards National agenda of Skill Development, Sajik Tampak Bn of 28 Sector AR under the aegis of IGAR (S), under Border Area Development Project 2018 -19, kicked off a two month training programme on "Beauty Therapy and Parlour" for border villages of Churachandpur.
The training was inaugurated by Commander 28 Sector AR today.
The course is conducted at JCRE Skills Solution, Imphal, which is a registered vocational training provider under Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), GoI and National Skill Development Centre certified partner in Manipur.
A total of 15 female candidates from border villages of Churachandpur are taking part in the training.
Beauty Parlour is a growing industry and it provides immense opportunities for individuals especially ladies to become entrepreneurs after successful training, said a press release issued by IGAR (S).
The candidates can even open their own salons or become independent professional make-up artists or hair dressers post certification, it added.
