Memo submitted on AK Moushi killing incident

Imphal, October 29 2015:
Joint Action Committee (JAC) against the brutal killing of AK Moushi of Mayang Imphal Thana Wangkhei Leikai on Thursday submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister demanding immediate arrest of the culprits.
It may be mentioned that, AK Moushi, son of Akoijam Nodiyachand of Mayang Imphal Thana Wangkhei Leikai was found hanging on October 24 last.
On Thursday, a rally organised was organised by the JAC.
However, police personnel in front of Imphal Police Station blocked the protesters.
Later on, five representatives were allowed to submit the memorandum.
Convener of the JAC, Sh Ibochou Sharma said that AK Moushi was hanged to death by some unidentified miscreants.
It has also been learnt from the post mortem that there were bruise marks on his body suggesting that he was brutally assaulted.
An FIR was filed and registered with the Mayang Imphal Police Station but nothing has been done yet, sai d Ibochou and warned that the JAC will launch an intense agitation if the authorities failed to arrest the culprits by October 30 .
