Imphal, November 25 2019: The proscribed UNLF has condoled the sudden demise of MPA's private Longjam Malemcha alias Ingoba s/o late L Baburam and late Sonota of Itham Maning Leikai on November 22 .

A press release issued by the outfit's department of publicity director M Sak-hen said that Pte Longjam Malemcha alias Ingoba joined the liberation movement on April 26, 2014 after completing basic military training.

Pte Malemcha worked at different units of MPA.

He also served as a combatant of the CorCom's joint fighting force from May 25, 2016 till June 9, 2017 .

Later, he was transferred to the MPA's 291 Bn on April 1, 2018.Pte Malemcha was away at a far off place to carry out a task assigned to him by the party when he suddenly became ill and expired on November 22, it conveyed.

Pte Malemcha was a brave freedom fighter of high discipline and he firmly believed in the party's and its armed wing.

The sudden demise of Malemcha is a big loss not only for UNLF/MPA but also for the whole liberation movement, it said.
