Village Authorities demand posting of SDOs in Tipaimukh and Vangai Area

CCpur, July 25 2018: With their demand for the posting of SDOs in Vangai and Tipaimukh area which remain unfulfilled despite the HS A GHQ closing their camp offices set up in Churachandpur town, the Village Authorities (VAs) of the two Sub-Divisions have today j oined the call maintaining they will forfeit their Job card wages until and unless the government sent two SDOs to their respective place of posting.

The decision to surrender their Job card wages was taken during a joint meeting of the VAs of the area at Tribal Hostel, Rengkai.

A joint declaration has also been made at the meeting stating that they will resort to hunger strike, if the authority concerned continues to ignore their demands even after the decision to forfeit their Job card wages was taken.
