Oinam school celebrates 65th foundation day

Bishnupur, January 24 2023: Oinam High School Alumni Association in coordination with the school authority celebrated the 65th foundation day of the school at the premises of the school located at Oinam in Bishnu-pur district on Tuesday.

Oinam MLA Irengbam Nalini and ZEO Zone-IV Bishnupur N Chingkhei attended the programme as chief guest and president respectively while DI Zone-IV Bishnupur Th Raghuma-ni and head mistress of the school Ngangom Nonibala were present as guests of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Nalini called for revival of the high school to its past glory and urged the teachers, students and parents to walk on the same page to achieve the target.

She urged the teaching staff to put their best efforts in grooming the students and uplift the school to a higher level than the private schools in the surrounding areas.

While appealing to the local people to put their faith in the government school and send their children there, the MLA also assured of extending all possible help from her side in improving the school.

Alumni association convenor Thingbaijam Swarankumar said that it will provide assistance to meritorious students of the school, who want to study in any of the states of the country after completing class X.The association will set up an office within the school premises and extend possible help for improving the condition of the school, he said and also drew attention of the local MLA and ZEO for looking after the needs of the school.

A total of 29 NCC cadets of the school, who have cleared NCC cadet examination 2020, were felicitated by presenting certificates on the occasion.
