Even though the jail has its own vocational training centre, it was not functioning well for a long time due to shortage of materials and manpower.
It got started to function again for the last 3-4 months with the assistance provided by the police officer of the jail.
The training centre is being run under the supervision of Prabhapati Sinam, instructor of the training.
Class timing of the training is from 10 am to 2 pm daily.
