Workshop on science writing for Senapati

Imphal, October 22 2013: Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC) in association with Presidency College, Motbung would be organising a four-day training workshop on science writing/journalism for Senapati district from November 13 to 16, 2013 at at the college.

Catalysed and supported by NCSTC, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, the objective of the workshop is to train budding science writers to enhance science coverage in various forms of media (print, audio-visual and electronic, etc) in the State.

A series of lectures accompanied by discussions, practical on script development and presentation of papers, etc would be the main activities of the programme.

Interested individuals, science teachers, science NGOs, media organisations, science workers in Government departments, etc working or living in Senapati district may contacts the office of MASTEC, Central Jail Road, Imphal or Y Biren Singh, Head of Chemistry department, Presidency College, Motbung for further details.

Applications in plain papers duly forwarded by the head of the institutes should be submitted to the office of MASTEC on or before November 8.2013 .
