Bishnupur, August 21 2019: The order issued by Executive Officer, Moirang Municipality Council, H Pradeepkumar banning services of E-Rickshaw in the area under MMC is very unfortunate and the EO could have exercised his power with some maturity after thoroughly understanding the Motor Vehicle Act, said Hemam Somikanta, Vice-President, All Moirang CD Block E-Rickshaw Development Co-Operative Society Ltd in a press meet held yesterday at the residence of president L Sanayaima Singh at Moirang Khoiru Leikai.

He also pointed out that the State Authority has already approved to provide IND Number and Registration under Transport Department to all the E-Rickshaw of the area in a meeting held on August 1 this year.

As such, he sought intervention from higher authority to solve the crisis.
