CHC Wangoo begins second round vaccination

Kakching, September 20 2021: The second round of mass COVID-19 vaccination organised by Community Health Centre (CHC), Wangoo Laipham under the aegis of Sugnu MLA K Ranjit began from Monday at Wangoo Warukok.

Doctors, nurses and staff of the CHC along with local ASHA workers, Covid Task Force volunteers vaccinated 123 people including 113 for second dose on the first day of the vaccination exercise being carried out under the aegis of MLA K Ranjit to vaccinate every eligible citizen of Sugnu AC.

The second round of the vaccination exercise will continue till October 8 .

People of Ithai, Laikhong and nearby villages falling under Kumbi AC of Bishnupur district including elderly people were also vaccinated during the exercise.

The second round of vaccination programme by CHC Wangoo Laipham will continue at Nungoo, Chairel, Khongyam on September 22, Wangoo Sandangkhong on September 24, Tangjeng Khunjao on September 27, on September 29 at Korshantabi, Tangjeng Khunou, Chajing Khunou and Chairel Khunou.
