KSO, Sadar Hills calls off proposed blockade

Kangpokpi, January 20 2020:
The proposed total blockade along National Highway-2 from 6 am of January 21 over the hit and run case on January 15 under the aegis of KSO Sadar Hills has been called off late this afternoon.
According to KSO Sadar Hills, even if the culprit involved in the hit and run case in whihc a member of KSO was killed on January 15 evening is yet to be known and booked as assured by the Police Department, the BIPL has owned responsibility over the unfortunate incident and offered financial assistance to the victim's family as well.
Considering this, the KSO Sadar Hills has decided to call off its proposed blockade along NH-2 with immediate effect.
However, KSO Sadar Hills said that the police investigation on the matter will continue while important samples collected from the spot and other relevant samples have been sent to the Forensic Department.
It also said that the dead body which still remains at RIMS Morgue will be claimed tomorrow after post mortem.
