87 Bn CRPF dedicates community hall under CAP

Jiribam, December 19 2018: The 87 Bn CRPF stationed at Uchathol, Jiribam has dedicated a community hall which was renovated under 'Civic Action Prog' to the villagers of Kambiron village.

On the eve of the Christmas and New Year, the community hall was dedicated, after renovation was done, to the people of the village.

Chief guest Brig SK Sharma (retd) DIGP Range CRPF Imphal inaugurated and handed over the community hall to the village chief which was also attended by Sunil Kumar Comdt 87 Bn CRPF, SK Nanda Dy Comdt, Major Indranil Bose OC, 165 Bn TA, Sitaram OC-C/87 Bn.

Speaking at the occasion, Brig SK Sharma said that the community hall is a special Christmas and New Year gift for the villagers of Kambiron village.

Comdt 87 Bn CRPF, Sunil Kumar expressed his gratitude to the villagers for their unconditional support, love and affection for the 87 Bn personnel and said that 87 Bn CRPF has conducted many such community devt prog in the past in different villages under its area of operation and will continue to do this noble initiative in the future too.
