Thoubal, October 19 2019: District Child Protection Unit Thoubal has organized a one-day awareness programme on "Child Marriage and POCSO Act 2012" at Phouden Keirambi Community Hall today.

The awareness programme was attended by social worker Md Khamba as chief guest, District Child Protection Officer Thoubal Konjengbam Anita as functional president and former member of CWC Thoubal and Science Graduate teacher Maibam Megha Singh as guest of honour.

In the awareness programme, Child Marriage Prohibition Officer Thoubal, Reena Chanu Moirangthem spoke on "Child marriage and its complication" and Chairperson CWC Imphal West, Th Rajkishore spoke "POCSO Act 2012" as resource persons.
