Kakching, July 18 2022: Wabagai Social Welfare Club (SWC) and Wabagai Tera Urak Women's Development Association jointly felicitated meritorious students of the locality, who cleared the HSLCE 2022 and HSE 2022 with flying colours including HSLCE 10th position holder Sorokhaibam Thoihenba in a function held at the club premises on Monday.

Wabagai ZP member Mayengbam Jayanta and SWC president Yumnam Budhichandra attended the function as chief guest and president respectively.

Wabagai GP Pradhan Yumnam Hemchand, up-pradhan Keisham Premchandra, ward member Keisham Asharani, social worker Mayengbam Ranjit, Wabagai Tera Urak Women's Development Association general secretary Yumnam Ayingbi and other members of the association were also present at the event as guests of honour.

Social scientist Dr Dhanabir Laishram gave a motivational speech on the topic 'Students' career and their future' .

Apart from the meritorious students, the club and association also encouraged students, who have been selected for admission to 6th standard in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
