NPF Ukhrul terms 3 VPs' resignations petty politics

Terming the dramatic resignations of three Vice presidents of NPF State Unit a petty politics, the NPF Ukhrul Division has said that the move on the part of the three party senior leaders was purely driven by their own vested interests.
NPF Ukhrul Division has gone on record saying that there were no differences whatsoever amongst the party leadership but were created by the three resigned leaders as they have their different personal interests in the current situation.
It further maintained that while Aza has lost hope of getting the party ticket in the forthcoming 2017 election, Ngamnung who contested the recently concluded ADC but failed on many counts, has been deserted by his own community.
"Stephenson Kasar is not happy with incumbent president for not fulfilling his certain personal interests" the district unit continued and added that while they have different vested interests, the three are trying to portray a different color in the public domain.
It then recalled that during the last MADC elections, 2 out of the 3 resigned VPs openly went against the official party candidates thereby causing great loss to the party.
"Accordingly, mention may be made that they have resigned during the pendency of disciplinary actions initiated against them" NPF Ukhrul unit added.
