Two Tamenglong students in for State level Science seminar

Tamenglong, August 16 2014 : The Science Unit of Zonal Education Office, Tamenglong organised a one day district level science seminar under the theme, "Innovation in agriculture for a sustainable future: Prospect and Challenges" at Indoor Stadium, Tamenglong on Thursday.

Out of 10 participants, the first two position holders were selected to participate in the state level science seminar to be held on 11 September.

Lena Pamei, a class VIII student of Kendriya Vidyalaya Tamenglong and Dimring Mehnaaz, class IX student of Don Bosco School Tamenglong held the first and second positions in the Seminar.

Trinity Public School, Don Bosco School, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Christian Grammer School and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Tamenglong took part in the science seminar.

Although the programme was slightly unpleasant due to poor sound system and improper arrangement, it was an eye opening event for many students as some participating students used power point presentations during the seminar for the first time.
