Bishnupur, November 15 2019: With an objective to finalise Gram Panchayat Plan (2020-21) for Saiton under Bishnupur district, a special gram sabha was held at Ibudhou Santhong Apanba Shanglen today.

Organised by Saiton GP, the meeting was attended by officials from different departments, MLA S Bira, Pradhan M Ibomcha, SDO/BDO Moirang Ch Somerendro, ex-Zilla Parishad member Md Bhorot and ward members of the GP.

During the meeting, the officials elaborated the schemes taken up by the respective departments, reports our correspondent.

Meanwhile, Kh Roshni Chanu, who bagged gold medal in the 5th South Asian Karate Championship 2019, was felicitated by the GP during the meeting in which she was presented with a gift and a cash award.

MLA S Bira and SDO/BDO Moirang Ch Somorendro also extended financial aid to Roshni as well.
