No request for posting: Suresh Babu

Teachers who are recruited under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) should not ask the concerned authority to change their posting location, instead the teachers should teach students with utmost sincerity so that a qualitative change in the society with quality education could be prevailed across the State.
The statement was asserted on Monday by the Principal Secretary of Education, Dr J Suresh Babu in the Three Day Counseling for Posting of Newly Recruited Graduate Teachers under RMSA 2014 which was jointly organised by State Implementation Committee and RMSA at SSA office Babupara Imphal.
During the counseling session for the Arts Graduate Teachers, Suresh Babu expressed that the counseling is conducted for the benefit of the 331 teachers who will be posted at the 317 Government schools.
He also appealed the teachers to teach the students with maximum effort so that the students could excel in their studies.
The Principal Secretary further told that the teachers are not expected to express unwillingness to attend schools after posting.
He also mentioned that teachers should not ask the concerned authority to change the posting location and added that application for transfer and posting should not be submitted.
Suresh Babu further stressed on the importance of teachers in bringing a qualitative change in the society with providing quality teaching to the students.
The Additional State Project Director and Deputy Secretary of Education L Nandakumar communicated that the Counseling is conducted to choose a choice of posting by the respective teachers who are recruited under RMSA and added that the posting should be thoughtful choice.
The Joint Secretary of Education (S) Abdus Salam and Deputy Secretary of Education (S) Mathang were also attended in the counseling session.
The Counseling for English teacher will be held on July 15 and Science teachers on July 16 respectively.
