7,35,560 live job-seeker in Manipur

Imphal, October 13 2015: A total of 7,35,560 including 5,22678 male applicants and 213,882 female applicants are live registered in the different Employment Exchange of Manipur at the end of August, 2015 .

In statement, Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) said that Imphal West District has the maximum number of job seekers of 1,92,081 including 1,24,975 male and 67,106 female; Imphal East District has 1,17,330 (82,822 male and 34,508 female); Thoubal District 1,24,196 (97,210 male and 26,986 female), Bishnupur District 70,756 (52,478 male and 18,278 female); Churachandpur District (73,845 (54,051 male and 19,794 female); Ukhrul 29,924 (20,844 male and 9,080 female), Senapati District 61,572 (44,314 male and 17,257 female); Tamenglong District 26,017 (19,625 male and 6,392 female) and Chandel 31,425 (21,420 male and 10,005 female) respectively.

The number of those registered under physically challenged are 2,752 (1,848 male and 904 female) and under UEI & GB are 6,662 (3,090 male and 3,572 female) .

A total of 1,863 applicants including 686 female applicants got themselves registered with employment exchanges in Manipur as against 5,696 applicants of the previous month.

11 applicants including 6 female applicants were removed due to non-renewal and placement during the month as against no one removed from live register of the previous month.
