Thawaijao Hungpung VA extends gratitude to Th Biswajit

Ukhrul, June 13 2019: The Thawaijao Hungpung Village Authority has extended heartfelt gratitude to Works Minister Th Biswajit for keeping the promise of blacktopping the road between Dungrei Junction and PMKVY Training Centre, Sacred Higher Secondary School, Hungphung.

A press release issued by Headman, Thawaijao Hungpung village, Ukhrul district said that the road is one of the most crucial link roads in Ukhrul District Headquarters which connects the biggest Higher Secondary School in the district with the main town road at Dungrei Junction.

The village authority concerned appealed the previous State Governments to blacktop the said road stretch several times considering the importance of the road as it will not only benefit the citizens of Ukhrul District Headquarters but most importantly thousands of student commuters.

However, the road remained unattended for many years before.

It also expressed gratitude to Lakpachui Siro, social worker for taking keen interest in the work and playing a significant part in materializing the project.

The VA has extended its best wishes to the Minister and the social worker in all their future endeavour and prayed that their leadership continue to bring development in the district in particular and Manipur in general.
