Common Service Centre Mela

With a view to spread awareness among the public about Common Service Centre (Digital Seva, Govt of India), a Common Service Centre Mela was held at Tronglaobi Awang Leikai, Moirang AC today.
The Mela was organised by CSC Tronglaobi Awang Leikai under DeGS Bishnupur in which Block Development officer (BDO) Moirang CD block, K Jadumani Singh, Tronglaobi-Terakhongshangbi Gram Panchayat ward no 2 member S Nando Singh and DM DeGS Bishnupur Prasanta Oinam attended as dignitaries.
Demonstration on services provided by CSCs along with opening of account through Paytm were the main activities of the Mela.
Speaking on the event, K Jadumani said the CSCs which have sprung up to provide digital literacy have proved to be successful.
He urged all to be fully aware of the services provided by the CSC in order to fully avail its benefits and make Manipur a digitally literate State.
Prasanta Oinam stated that the facilities include in the CSCs are mostly based for the rural people.
Aadhar employment, Digipay, BHIM, DDu-GKY, PMGDISHA etc are some of the facilities which have proved successful.
He assured that Wifi facilities will be made available to all the 24 Gram Panchayats of Bishnupur while adding that people can conduct money transaction at the CSCs to save time and inconveniences.
