Non-BJP parties love people only during election election time: A Sharda

Imphal, November 12 2021: Except BJP, all other political parties in the state love and go to the people only during election time, stated BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi.

Addressing the gathering at a one-day political conference organised by BJP Thangmeiband Mandal at Ibudhou Naothingkhong Pakhangba Shanglen here on Friday, Sharda said that BJP is a political party which has been serving the people with dedication since 1980 irrespective of success in election or not.

One distinct difference in ideology between BJP and other political parties is the latter love public only during election time.

She then urged people of the state to see improvement of national highways in the state since the coming of BJP government.

People are witness to how Imphal-Moreh road was left unattended during the 15 years Congress rule and how much improvement has been brought in barely five years' reign of BJP led government, she added.

Implementation of ILP system in Manipur indeed was a huge gift presented by BJP to people of the state and accordingly the party will form the government after 2022 election, A Sharda affirmed and appealed to people of Thangmeiband AC to elect representative who could be part of the next government.

Works minister Th Biswajit, who also took part in the conference, said that Congress regime in the country was 'ruling and ruining' and the Congress government in the country was successful only in corruption and crimes.

He also said that only BJP government can bring development in Manipur and Thangmeiband AC.

Former BJP candidate of Thangmeiband AC Jyotin Waikhom, who also attended the political conference, said that time has arrived for people of Thangmeiband AC to give fitting lesson to incumbent MLA who shifts from one political party to another all the time.

He alleged that incumbent Thangmeiband MLA could speak against Congress party despite being MLA of the party.

BJP Manipur Pradesh secretary Kongkham Bikram also said that Thangmeiband AC remains undeveloped as elected representative of the constituency remained in Opposition for nearly 10 years.
