Imphal, August 11 2020: Troops of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) along with Bishnupur Police Commandos apprehended a self styled lance corporal of PLA/RPF on August 9, stated IGAR (S) .

Based on specific inputs, a joint team of Tulihal Battalion and Bishnupur Commandos launched an operation and apprehended a self styled lance corporal of PLA/RPF from Leimaram Bazar area of Bishnupur district.

The cadre has been identified as Nigthoujam Kheta Singh alias Roshan, age 32 years, S/o N Anganthomaba Singh of Waroching, Bishnupur.

The apprehended individual has been handed over to Nambol Police Station for further investigation.
