RPF slams Gaikhangam over Ukhrul blast claim

Imphal, March 11 2015: RPF continued saying that the discovery of several human skulls and skeletal remains at the erstwhile Tombisana High School on December 26, 2014 has created a big question in the minds of the people.

It accused the Indian Army of involving in a number of enforced disappearance cases for which none of them has so far been punished as per the established law.

The outfit pointed out that those even mummified bodies of pharaoh in Egypt dated back to 5000 BC have been able to disclose how they died.

Charging the Indian Army and alleged puppet Manipur Government for carrying out an unabated secret operation against the people, the outfit said many lives have perished in the course of the operation besides completely destroying the society.

The secret operation has also fueled tension among the brethren of the region, apart from letting the non-locals hold the rein of socio-economy of the land, the RPF statement further accused.
