Inferno razes ML Pandey store at Kangpokpi

Kangpokpi, November 10 2014: While everyone was in deep slumber at the town of Kangpokpi ML Pandey Store, one of the top leading business establishments in Sadar Hills has been engulfed by a fire suspected to be from an electrical short circuit today at around 12:30 am.

According to police source, properties including grocery items worth more than Rs.20 lakh has been completely destroyed by the fire accident that took place in ML Pandey Store owned by one Madanlal Pandey.

It continued that the fire suspected to be from an electrical short circuit completely destroyed the shop and store while some furniture, electronic device, three AC and partition of SBI Kangpokpi Branch situated just a stretch of hand from the ill-feted store has also been damaged.

Meanwhile, Debu, son of Madanlal Pandey, who was left alone at the house while all the other family member were out of station to attended his sister wedding ceremony at Bihar said that I could not ascertained the exact estimated cost of the lost property but it could in average more than 20 lakh before adding that the exact cost of the lost property could be ascertained when my brother reached here tomorrow.

Fire tender of Kangpokpi and Senapati extinguished the fire only at around 3:30 pm with the help Kangpokpi Police Personnel and local people.
