CCpur, September 10 2020:
The KSO Churachandpur has today called on the Principals and Headmasters of educational institutions not to conduct online tests (semester or internal examination) during the pandemic.
Saying that although the pandemic has created an unprecedented situation for all, the body it a press statement further added that it is important the children don't fall behind on their education and also equally critical their health doesn't take a hit.
It went on to assert that the Government has been touting online classes as a viable alternative as regular offline class is not possible.
However, this alternative, of e-learning or online learning opportunities, is skewed by economic status and geography.
Students from remote areas and marginalised sections are bound to face enormous hardships for studies during this pandemic, it added.
Poverty, internet inaccessibility further exacerbate the problem of digital learning process.
