Legal Awareness programme held

Senapati, September 10 2018: District Legal Services Authority Senapati in association with Okeshwar Honeshwar Trust (OKHO Trust) Langmeidong under Manipur State Legal Services Autiiority organized a one-day Legal Awareness Programme at Jangnomphai Village Community Hall and S SaheibungVillage Community Hall in Senapati District today.

In the awareness programme held at Jangnomphai Village, Village Chief of Jangnomphai Nehmilen Haokip attended the programme as chief guest, Executive Director Okho Trust Langmeidong Th Ngouba Singh (Star India National Awardee) as functional President while Secretary Jangnomphai Village Lhunja Haokip attended the programme as guest of honour.

Whereas in the Awareness Programme held S Saheibung Village, Village Chief of S Saheibung S Athang Haokip attended as chief guest, Executive Director Okho Trust Langmeidong Th Ngouba Singh (Star India National Awardee) as functional President, while Pastor of S Saheibung Village Jampu Haokip attended the programme as guest of honour.

General Secretary Elangbam Tondonbi Singh Memorial Charitable Trust Hiyanglam W Amusana Devi (National Awardee) spoke on the principal meaning of conducting the awareness programmes while Advocate Keisham Dhane Singh Legal Aid Counsel Imphal West spoke on Effective Implementation of Poverty Alleviation Scheme, Food Security Act, Consumers Act, RTI while former General Secretary Advocate L Ashapurna Devi of All Manipur Lady Advocate Association spoke on Child Friendly Legal Services to Children and their Protection Scheme, Crime against Women, Domestic Violence Act, POCSO Act as resource persons.

Advocate Keisham Dhane Singh moderated a discussion programme later.
