Imphal, August 10 2020: Thangmeiband United Club (TUC) has appealed all non-locals employed in construction works to desist their activities for some time in the wake of the rapid growth of COVID-19 cases in the State and the Thangmeiband area.

TUC in a statement, said that the measure to stop the entry and works of non-locals was taken up on account of the rising COVID-19 cases and mushrooming of containment zones.

TUC appealed all concerned who are employing or assigning non local labourers and mistry to refrain from construction work for some time in view of the crisis.

TUC also urged all clubs and Meira Paibi association to support the move and strictly follow SOP to ensure safety for all.
