Moreh, July 10 2014: A mineral water preparation plant was inaugurated in the border town of Moreh under the aegis of M/s Touthang Agency Pvt.

Ltd.

here on Wednesday.

Maintaining that the shortage of drinking water face by the people of Moreh will be reduced with the installation of the plant, the agency announced that a jar of 20 litre will cost Rs.50 .

Along with drawing water from a depth of 350 feet, the preparation of mineral water is to be done by maintaining the quality required for potable drinking free from germs and chemicals, the agency said.

The inaugural programme of the mineral water preparation plant held at Mored Ward No.2 was attended by people of various communities residing in Moreh including members of Meitei Council Moreh, All Community Development Organisation Moreh, Hill Tribal Council Moreh, Tamil Sangam Moreh, staff of State Bank of India and Kuki Women and Human Rights.
