Mizoram CM to arrive at CCpur today

CCpur, February 10 2020: Chief Minister of Mizoram Zoramthanga will be arriving at Churachandpur tomorrow to grace the Zo Kutpui celebration to be hosted by Zo Kutpui (Festival) celebration committee, Manipur and the Tourism Department, Mizoram at Kawnpui village int Churachandpur.

Zoramthanga and his entourage have reportedly left Aizawl this evening by road and will hold the night at a village in the Manipur-Mizoram border, sources said.

They will resume their journey early tomorrow and are likely to arrive at Churachandpur in the evening.

The visiting Chief Minister and his team will be holding tomorrow's night at the BSF's Subsidiary Training Centre and grace the main event of the Zo Kutpui, which is an electoral promise of the Mizo National Front.

The Zo Kutpui will be celebrated on the theme 'We are One.' It is an attempt to bridge the gap amongst the Zo descendants and brought them closer, according to the organisers.
