AR organises drawing competition

Chandel, December 09 2019: Joupi Battalion of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted a drawing competition as part of Swachhta Pakhwada at Saibol Joupi village, Khengjoy Sub Division in Chandel district today.

With an aim to inculcate the sense of cleanliness in the children from the very beginning of their life, the drawing competition was organised with a participation of 25 children including seven girls of Saibol Joupi Primary School, Saibol Joupi village.

The theme for the competition was "Swachhta", said a press release issued by PRO, IGAR.

The event was organised to fulfil the vision and aim of the Prime Minister as set in 'Swacch Bharat Yojna'.

The locals praised the efforts of Assam Rifles and conveyed their heartfelt gratitude for this initiative.

The locals along with children pledged to carry forward this vision of Swachhta and ensure cleanliness of their neighbourhood.
