AR conducts health camps at Tengnoupal, Chandel

In order to enhance community health, the Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the District Health Authority of Tengnoupal conducted a health check-up and medical camp at Kwatha village today.
The camp provided free medical consultations, health screenings and distributed essential medicines to community members, ensuring quality healthcare at no cost to the, villagers, said a press note issued by IGAR (S) .
A dedicated team of doctors and healthcare professionals from Assam Rifles and the District Health Authority worked in unison to deliver comprehensive medical care, addressing a wide range of health needs.
A total of 150 individuals benefited from the medical aid provided during this camp.
Simultaneously, Assam Rifles organized another medical camp at Phaisanjang village in Chandel, extending essential healthcare services to the local community.
The camp witnessed 83 individuals receiving free health check-ups, screenings and consultations on-site.
As a part of these camps, the medical teams conducted thorough health screenings and provided personalized advice to attendees, emphasizing the importance of regular check-ups and timely medical care.
Additionally, an awareness session on cancer prevention was held, focusing on early detection, warning signs, and lifestyle choices that can help lower cancer risks.
Local residents expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Assam Rifles for bringing vital healthcare services directly to their doorstep.
