Allow resumption of normal classes: AMSU

Imphal, April 08 2015 : All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) appealed to all concerned on Wednesday to allow resumption of normal classes in all Catholic Schools in the State with immediate effect.

An AMSU statement urged the authorities of Catholic Schools, pressure groups and underground organizations to value the life of all students.

The union stated that it has taken serious note of the 'ban' imposed on all Catholic Schools by some groups and urged the authorities of these institutes to tackle the problem with utmost sincerity so that it can be resolved.

AMSU, however, expressed displeasure over the repeated banning of these institutes by a unilateral decision of some student bodies as well as underground groups.

It also urged the authorities of the Catholic Schools to formulate a clear-cut policy that is suitable to the soil of the land.
