Imphal, January 08 2021: A voluntary blood donation camp was organised today at RIMS Blood Bank, Lamphel.

The blood donation camp was jointly organised by Life Savers Manipur; Sports Association for Visual Impaired (SAVI); HDFC Bank, Imphal; State Blood Cell-NHM, Manipur; State Blood Transfusion Council, Manipur and RIMS Blood Bank in connection with 'Death Anniversary of Maharaj Gambhir Singh', said a statement issued by Life Savers Manipur.

The blood donation camp was attended by Dr A Barindra Sharma, Head and Professor, Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS; Dr K Rachandra, Asst Professor, Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS; K Padmakumar Sharma, Managing Director, Life Savers Manipur; Khundrakpam Premjit Singh, 66 times voluntary blood donor and Pebam Dhananjoy Singh, Treasurer, SAVI, added the statement.

Life Savers Manipur expressed gratitude to all the people who took part in the voluntary blood donation camp and donated blood, also added the statement.
