Imphal, June 07, 2013: Jangvei Peter Shelthot Lamkang, Chief of Seitaikarong was administered the oath of secrecy by LNKK President Sankhil Setoi Lamkang during a Lamlang Customary Chieftainship service held at Sektaikarong in Chandel district on June 5. Local Catechist, John Tharshing while blessing and anointing the new chief reminded in his speech the story of how Israelites in the Old Testament Bible needed a king to rule and have a king like the other Countries.

He offered prayer to the Almighty for the well being, honesty, ability to deliver justice and freedom by the new chief to lead his people with prosperity.

Social Worker Wangshol Kanral Anal and CNPO President Gabriel were also present and spoke on the occasion.
