Free heart camp held at District Hospital, Chandel

Chandel, October 04 2019: In continuation of its "Free Heart Camp" in different districts of Manipur, Manipur Heart Foundation (MHF) in association with SKY Hospital & Research Centre Pvt Ltd conducted one day "Free Heart and Echo screening Camp' at District Hospital Chandel on October 3, said a press release issued by MHF.

In the camp, free heart OPD, free echocardiography, free ECG and free Diabetes detection tests were provided while a total number of 121 patients including children below 18 years of age were given free heart OPD, 25 patients received free Echo, free ECG were conducted to 55 patients and free Diabetes detection tests were done to 15 patients.

During the camp, 8 children below 18 years of age were detected to have CHD (Congenital Heart Disease) and another 2 adults were found to have abnormal Echo study findings for which free assessment was advised at SKY hospital.

It may be mentioned that Manipur Heart Foundation has successfully conducted free heart camp at different District Hospitals of Manipur including CCpur District Hospital on August 19, Ukhrul district Hospital on September 26 while the next camp will be conducted at Senapati District Hospital on October 11 .
