Imphal, March 03 2012: Along with giving befitting tributes, the 112th Birth Anniversary of renowned writer Dr Lamabam Kamal was observed under the aegis of Naharol Sahitya Premi Samiti at the Manipur Hindi Parishad Hall at Assembly Road here today.

Sahitya Akademi Awardee Khumanthem Prakash and President of Naharol Sahitya Premi Samiti P Nabachandra attended the observance function as Chief Guest and President respectively.

Sahitya Akademi Awardee Kshetri Bira and Prof N Aruna were also present on the occasion as Guests of Honour.

Paying floral tributes to the photo of late Dr Lamabam Kamal and remembering his works marked the observance.
