Imphal, December 02 2019: Joint Committee Tiddim (JC Tiddim), Manipur has condemned in the strongest term the rally of Zomi Council which took out on November 25 for allegedly chanting several slogans against State unity and integrity.

A press released issued by the convenor of JC Tiddim claimed that Zomis are not an indigenous people of Manipur who started settling in the State since 1951 .

Saying that demand for Zoulen Territorial Boundary raised during the rally is 'unacceptable', it urged the State Government not to fulfil their demand under any circumstances.
