Bishnupur, October 02 2024: The Loktak Project organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with the 32 Bn CRPF and Shija Blood Centre on National Voluntary Blood Donation Day yesterday at the Loktak Project Hospital.

The event saw an enthusiastic turnout of volunteers and residents eager to contribute, as per a press note issued by Tapas Ranjan Behera, Officer (HR), Loktak Project.

The camp was graced by chief guests Sh Upendra Hajra, Head of Loktak Project and Sh Arun Kumar Meena, Commandant, 32 Bn CRPF.

Both leaders emphasized the importance of voluntary blood donation in saving lives and strengthening community bonds.

The camp successfully collected numerous units of blood, with participants expressing their gratitude for the opportunity to help others.

Organizers have hoped to make this an annual event, furthering awareness and encouraging more residents to participate in future drives.
