Goodwill reaches out to fire victims

Kangpokpi, February 28 2018:
As part of its endeavour to execute good things for others, the Goodwill Society of Kangpokpi DHQs today reached out to fire victims of February 28 at Kangpokpi DHQs today.
In the grave fire incident, a two storey semi pucca building at ward no 1 in heart of the Kangpokpi DHQs was completely razed at around 1 pm.
The semi-pucca building comprising of four rooms was occupied by three cobblers and their family and a roadside hotelier with his family.

All belongings including furniture, clothing, utensils, cash and few costly properties were completely destroyed in the fire.
As per the decision of the members, the Goodwill Society Kangpokpi had earlier visited the two hospitals of the town with few cash contributed by the members among themselves for the patients and prayed for their early recovery in January.
The Goodwill Society resolved in its first meeting held on January 21 to carry at least one activity every month throughout the year for the welfare of the people.
The society contributed one bag of rice and one bag of flour to the fire victims and motivates them while praying for their well being.
