Rotary Club of Imphal organises training prog for school teachers

Imphal, December 28 2019: Rotary Club of Imphal, Rotary International District-3240 conducted a two-day teachers training programme for school teachers of Zonal Educational Office (Zone I & II), Department of Education(S) .

A press release issued by president of Rotary Club of Imphal, Rotary International District-3240 stated that the programme was held under TEACH programme of Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM) on December 27 and 28 at Rotary Multiservice Centre, Mantripukhri Imphal.

About 100 individuals comprising of teachers and officers (MES) took part in the training programme, it said while adding that six sessions were carried out in the two days training.

Meanwhile, a valedictory function was also held today in which Commissioner, Transport and Horticulture & Soil Conservation, Harekrishna Mangsatabam, Zonal Education Officer (zone I) Sucheta Khumukcham (MES), Past District Governor, Rotary International District-3240 Rotarian Ajit Irom and president of Rotary Club of Imphal Rotarian W Rabichandra were present as presidium members.

Certificate? of the participants were also distributed at the end of the function, added the statement.
