Lamka, November 27 2013:
UTLA/KNO has issued a notification with regard to the abduction of Khupa Paite (Army No.-1017) on November 19 at around 2:30 pm allegedly by cadres of the S.K.Thadou group and given a deadline for releasing the abducted cadre.
The notification stated that Khupa Paite went to visit his relatives at Leisang village when the abduction took place.
The UTLA/KNO put its blind faith that the said cadre will be hand-over to the concerned police station.
At the same time, the organisation was making its best effort for peaceful environment and amicable relationship within the insurgent groups.
So, abduction of the the innocent cadre without any reason reflects the mindset of
the adductors.
Moreover, after a detailed analysis was done, it was found that Khupa Paite has done nothing wrong in the organisation and so SK Thadou has no authority to judge any cadre of UTLA/KNO cadre.
Issuing a deadline, UTLA/KNO Arms wings-Quick Action Team has categorically stated that Khupa Paite should be released on or before 25th Nov 2013 safely.
