AMCTA urges

The All Manipur College Teachers' Association (AMCTA) has appealed to the Governor and the Chief Minister to bring a swift and positive solution to the current issue plaguing Manipur University.
A press release issued by the joint secretary (publicity) of the association stated that if the issues surrounding Manipur University in connection with the demand for immediate resignation of VC Adya Prasad Pandey continues further, it will lead to a huge loss in the academic atmosphere of the university and specially the career of the students.
It continued that the college semester exams as well as other processes which have been put on hold by the current impasse at the university is a big loss for the students.
Appealing the Governor and the Chief Minister to solve the issue at the earliest and bring a positive solution, it warned that if the issue is left as it is, it may escalate further.
It also informed that AMCTA will also organise an emergency meeting in connection with the issue.
