Bishnupur, January 27 2021: A road mishap which occurred on Tidim Road between Naransena and Sunusiphai at around 3.15 pm yesterday claimed one life and injured another.

The deceased was identified as PD Singneingam (26), s/o PD Popathoi from Nungsai Chiru.

He was driving NTORQ 125 without a registration number.

His body has been deposited at RIMS morgue.

The injured individual has been identified as SD Thangneilen (25), s/o late SD Thangpa from Nungsai Chiru.

He was rushed to district hospital Bishnupur.

According to reports culled from the accident site, the two-wheeler hit the rear of one Alto Car heading towards Moirang side.

It is reported that another vehicle Ace Zip fell into a paddy field adjacent to the road while trying to avoid hitting the two vehicles.
