CBI raids RIMS official's residence

Imphal, November 26 2020:
A team of CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) personnel today raided the official quarters of Elangbam Debendro who is the Chief Accounts Officer cum Financial Advisor of RIMS and recovered Rs 1.31 lakh in cash, gold ornaments worth Rs 23 lakh, bank pass books and other incriminating documents showing construction of two RCC buildings, one already completed and the other under construction at Thangmeiband Lairenhanjaba Leikai, one Honda Jazz car, one Fascimo motor cycle, investments in banks, insurance company.
A case against Debendro has been registered by the anti-corruption branch of the CBI.
