CADA organizes public meeting at Champanagar

Jiribam, May 26 2019: Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) Jiribam District Committee in association with Yawol Club Champanagar organised a public meeting at Champanagar on May 22 .

Pradhan of Dibong Gram Panchayat RK Nobinsana, CADA president Hijam Priyokumar, Meira club president Nongthombam Manikanta attended the meeting as presidium members.

CADA vice president N Doren, CADA secretary general Geetchandra Mangang spoke at the meeting as resource persons.

Speaking at the gathering, Geetchandra Mangang said that many illegal migrant enter the district as it is at the border of the State and as a result numerous drug peddlers enter the district very easily.

He maintained that local clubs and Meira Paibis should play active roles in taking up preventive measures and help make the district a drug free place.
