Imphal, November 25 2018: The Fulling Cultural Organisation Imphal, under the sponsorship of Ministry of Culture, Government of India, organised a 'State Level Tribal Folk Dance Festival, 2018' at Manipur Dance Union Hall, Imphal West today.

Speaking at the event, president of The Fulling Cultural Organisation, Star Kamei said that festival was held to promote art and cultural dances of the various tribes in the State.

The festival was also organised with the aim to provide platform to the various cultural and dance organisations which are keen on promoting their folk dances and culture, he said.

Kabui, Tangkhul, Maring and other communities participated in the event.

IMC Corporators - Meibon Phaomei (Ward No 26), Tourangbam Indrajit Meitei (Ward No 6), RK Jiten singh (Ward No 7), Soram Sunil Singh (Ward No 9), G Bino (Ward No 24), Joy Kabui (Ward No 21) and Gaidon Gangmei (Ward No 1) attended the event.
